Staying fit and active is a great way to support your mental and physical well-being during stage 4 lockdown. The team at Blind Sport New Zealand are here to help connect you with some great physical activity opportunities that are currently available! FAM (Functional Adaptive Movement)

Michael and the team at FAM have designed an online adaptive fitness experience for you! FAM is a strength and conditioning social enterprise with specifically designed programs for all ages to increase the overall health and wellness of those with any disability.

Monday  - FAM™ Class
Wednesday - FAM™ STRONG Class
Friday - FAM™ SWEAT Class

There will be three-time slots per session; 10:00 a.m. (athletes who can stand), 11:00 a.m. (seated athletes) and 4:00 p.m. for students (seated & standing).

ZUU X BLIND

Manukau South Blind Sports Club with ZUU instructor Milton, are bringing ZUU X Blind sessions to you!

Sessions are held every Tuesday & Thursday from 4:45-6:15 p.m. via Zoom. These cross-fit style workouts are designed specifically for individuals who are blind or have low vision so perfect for all our community!

  • Sport New Zealand #fitforfour -  no equipment needed workout challenges

  • Les Mills On Demand - Les Mills and TVNZ have come together to broadcast a range of Les Mills workouts for free! You can catch these sessions live at 9 a.m. on TVNZ 1 (adults) and 3 p.m. on TVNZ 2 (kids). Can't make these times? Head to the TVNZ website to catch up.

  • Synergy Dance - Yoga and mediation designed specifically for kids with a vision impairment
