Blind Low Vision NZ

Blind Low Vision NZ is New Zealand’s main provider of practical and emotional support for the tens of thousands of Kiwis who are blind or have low vision, enabling them to face their future with confidence. Every day an average of three New Zealanders turn to the Blind Foundation for support with sight loss.

With a vision of ‘Life without limits – Kahore e Mutunga Ki te Ora’, Blind Low Vision NZ staff around the country aim to enable people who are blind or have low vision to be self-reliant and live the life they choose.


Halberg Foundation & Sport New Zealand

Halberg Disability Sport Foundation is Sport New Zealand’s community sport lead agency to deliver sport and recreation opportunities to physically disabled New Zealanders” and has the “responsibility for working with other sport and recreation organisations that deliver opportunities to physically disabled New Zealanders”


Blind Sport New Zealand receives financial support through the ‘No Exceptions Investment’ programme. This support helps to grow and develop sporting opportunities for blind and low vision New Zealanders.
