Last weekend, we hit the slopes at Snowplanet as part of our Auckland Youth Programme. With the support of Snow Sports New Zealand, Snowplanet instructors and skilled volunteers, eight participants took to the snow for a fun morning on the slopes.
For the majority of our participants, this was their first time learning to ski or snowboard, and for some, it was their first time seeing snow! Alongside their experienced guides, participants learned the basics of either skiing or snowboarding, and finished off with some tubing and tobogganing.
Check out some pictures from our morning of snow sports below! If you’re interested in coming along to any of our other sessions, head over to the Auckland Youth Programme page for more information.
