Blind Sport NZ’s Auckland Youth Programme kicked off this weekend with a gymnastics session. Led by Catherine at Tristar Gymnastics and supported by volunteer Vicky and Blind Sport NZ’s Casey, our nine participants got to try a wide range of fun activities including the beam, bars and the tumble track. Participants also learnt how to do forward and backwards rolls, and cartwheels.

Check out some pictures from the session below! We’re really excited for the rest of our youth sports sessions. If you’re interested in learning more about the programme, head over to the Auckland Youth Programme page.
