Blind Sport New Zealand is excited to announce that the lead organization for blind and low vision sports and recreation in New Zealand will start the new year in new offices.
Relocation of the Blind Sport New Zealand’s national office will be effective as at February 1st 2017, and will see the National Disability Sports Organisation relocate from its office in Ellerslie, to be based with the national leader in blindness services, the Blind Foundation, at Awhina House in Parnell, Auckland.
Blind Sport New Zealand National Manager Dan Shepherd described the move as an exciting opportunity for blind and low vision sport.
The National Manager commented that “Working even more closely with a key partner like the Blind Foundation is an exciting move towards the achievement of shared objectives and increasing blind and low vision sports and recreation opportunity for our community”.
